Richard D. Harvey, Ph.D.
Position(s): Asst. Professor of Psychology; Fellow, Center for Organizational Learning and Renewal.
About Dr. Harvey: Richard Harvey received his Master's (1992) and Ph.D. (1995) from the University of Kansas with specializations in both Social Psychology and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Richard has published multiple academic and practitioner oriented articles and works. He provides both research and developmental services for the center.
Interests and Experiences in Organizational Learning: Richard has extensive background in research and consultation related to organizational learning. Topics of special research interests to him include performance management, competency modeling, program evaluation, organizational culture and climate, and cultural diversity issues. He has consulted to a wide variety of both profit and nonprofit organizations in the areas of compensation, performance appraisal, employee satisfaction, training validation, program evaluation and cultural assessments. "I enjoy watching an organization learn how to derive useable feedback from its research or data collection efforts." One of Richard's strengths is the ability to design and facilitate research projects within organizational settings.
