Robert S. Rubin, M.A.
Position(s): Graduate Student, Department of Psychology
About Mr. Rubin: Bob Rubin holds a Master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville (1998) and a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Indiana University (1995). Bob has published multiple scholarly and practitioner oriented articles and teaches in the areas of organizational behavior and leadership at Saint Louis University. He has been an invaluable asset in providing research and development activities for the center.
Interests and Experiences in Organizational Learning: Bob brings a number of significant experiences to the center including expertise in the area of recruitment, selection, and performance management, as well as experience in managerial development. Bob has consulted across multiple industries including health care, transportation, and higher education. Bob is primarily interested in team learning and leadership within learning organizations. He commented, "I am continuously fascinated with teams that are able to challenge the status quo through innovative organizational learning processes. These processes lead to long-term competitive advantage for organizations with the courage and patience to learn." Bob's ability to coach and facilitate individual and group development is one of his strongest assets.
