Edward J. Sabin, Ph.D.
Position(s): Associate Professor of Psychology

About Dr. Sabin: Ed Sabin received his Master's degree and Ph.D. from Saint Louis University. Currently a faculty member in the Department of Psychology, he has previously served in several administrative positions including an appointment as Assistant Provost for the University. He is a member of the American Psychological Society, Midwestern Psychological Association, and Gateway Industrial and Organizational Psychologists.

Interests and Experiences in Organizational Learning: Ed's consultation and research interests related to organizational learning include organizational assessment, change and development; strategic planning; and communication processes. He has consulted with government agencies, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations in the Saint Louis region. Ed also teaches a graduate course in organizational learning at Saint Louis University from a multidisciplinary perspective. "Organizational learning provides a powerful set of practical tools to help organizations achieve their goals. The learning that results from proactive inquiry, reflective dialogue, and integrated action can transform an organization." Ed's strengths include the assessment of organizational effectiveness and strategic planning.
