Scott R. Safranski, Ph.D.

About Dr. Safranski: Scott Safranski received his M.B.A. degree (1979) from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire and Ph.D. (1983) from Indiana University. Scott has published one book and published/presented over 40 articles, book chapters, or professional papers.
Interests and Experiences in Organizational Learning: The focus of most of Scott's research has been on the organization-environment interface, particularly in religious and other not-for-profit entities. A secondary area of study is comparative leadership/human resource management in different nations. "We can gain a very great deal by observing and learning from what organizations in different sectors of the economy or in different cultural and legal-political settings are doing." Dr. Safranski has worked with organizations in both for-profit and non-profit spheres and on issues ranging from employee benefits to global outsourcing. Clients have included everything from single-owner small firms to fortune 500 companies and from colleges to a Roman Catholic Archdiocese.
